I am a proud student of Carol DuBosch in Portland, Oregon. My calligraphic journey started in elementary school when I was first introduced to italic during an enrichment class. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Communication, I briefly joined the Arizona Calligraphic Society in Phoenix and took a few weekend classes for fun. Wanting to stay inside, warm and dry, I returned to calligraphy again after we relocated to Portland. I signed up for a class at Portland Community College with Carol DuBosch around 2013. She has inspired me to get more involved with calligraphy and I haven’t looked back. I am participating in Scribbled Lives for the first time this year.
During the day, I work as the Training Manager for the Bureau of Emergency Communications
(Portland 9-1-1). I love to make letters.
